The Flush Base for Onefinity is an alternative to a 90 degree stepper base, arm, and attachment.
It mounts on the top of the gantry where the Z Axis is and requires a regular Arm of and an Attachment. There should not be a disadvantage to getting a longer arm, as it will only project it higher creating more clearance.
It is optimized for a Onefinity that does not have the aluminum block for the homing switch sensor, however it will still work with the Elite series, and just have some floating parts. In our testing this has not proved to be an issue.
First load two of the square nuts into the arm.
Then load screws from the bottom securing the arm to the Flush Base for Onefinity
If you have an Elite, remove the two screws holding the block in place with the activating finger for the limit switches. and replace with the included screws.
Put the last square nut at the top of the arm.
Place the attachment on the arm securing with the magnet.
Insert the screws one at the top and one on each side.
securing them in place will complete the assembly.
