The XYZ Block wiring inlet is a black wire, and a red wire with a jumper. The jumper goes into any power port, the black wire goes into any ground, and the 3rd connector goes into any input. Here I have it in input 10. 

Input 9 is reserved but not dedicated for DTHC (a plasma function). 

After you have them plugged into an input/power/ground port, go to the F1 screen and assign the input. 

If you forgot which input you allocated it for, you can touch the magnet to the block, and look for which input is changing. 

After that you're XYZ Probe Block is plugged in. The last thing you'll need to do before using it is allocating the probes dimensions which are included in this article
