We currently support and supply the Delixi EM61 series VFD, available in both 110V and 220V versions, ideal for powering 1.5kW and 2.2kW air- or water-cooled spindles in hobby and semi-pro CNC machines.
📘 What Is a VFD, and Why Do You Need One?
A Variable Frequency Drive is a device that converts standard wall power (AC) into a variable-frequency output that controls the speed and torque of a 3-phase spindle motor. Without a VFD, you can’t safely run a CNC spindle or adjust its speed dynamically through software.
VFDs offer:
-
Adjustable spindle speed from 0 to 24,000 RPM
-
Smooth motor acceleration and braking
-
Overload protection and thermal safeguards
-
Remote control integration via CNC software or hardware switches
