Welcome to your PwnCNC Conversion Kit! 🎉

If you’re reading this, you’re ready to transform your CNC machine with the reliability and precision of a MASSO Touch controller and closed-loop steppers. This guide will be your launch point—walking you through what’s included, what to expect, and the first steps you should take before diving into assembly.

What’s in the Box

Your Conversion Kit includes everything you need to upgrade your machine:

  • MASSO G3 Touch controller (prewired and configured for PwnCNC accessories)

  • Closed-loop stepper motors (3) 2Nm or 3Nm steppers for X & Y, (1) with brake for Z

  • Power box with a 36V supply

  • Homing Face-triggering sensors (4 proximity switches + wiring)

  • Shielded cabling for noise-free operation - Physically shielded cable, but for optimal EMI performance, the shield must be grounded properly at the controller or VFD end.

  • Pre-installed inlets panel for cable-inlet accessories like XYZ Probe, Tool Setter, Spindle, Rotary, ATC, and more

⚠️ Note: The Conversion Kit replaces your OEM electronics entirely. Installing it will void your original machine warranty.

Before You Begin

  1. Workspace Prep – Clear your bench and gather tools (Allen wrenches, screwdriver, zip ties).

  2. Identify Motors – There’s one longer stepper with an integrated brake (Z axis). Keep it aside for later; start with X and Y.

  3. Familiarize Yourself – Browse through the [step-by-step assembly pages] to see what’s ahead.
