The Tramming Master is just like other tramming devices on the market, except they are typically made for taller X Axis's and have trouble fitting under the gantry of the Hobby Market Machines. We have scaled it down, and it operates exactly the same way. 

The Tramming Master comes preassembled, and you only need to insert the 1/4" dowel rod into the collet of your router or spindle and calibrate your dials to each other. You can calibrate them by twisting the face of the dial. As you rotate the tramming master or jog your machine, you are looking for the level of change between left and right, and the dials allow you to compare over 84mm distance.
