The Surface Mount with Manual Override Switch (MOS) is a VFD Keypad Mount that allows you to relocate your Keypad and Manual Override Switch (only detachable on V5) and put them at the same location.

Inventory:

(4) #6 3/4" Screws   *1

The Keypad Mount with MOS (Black or Yellow)      *2

A Backer for the MOS (optional depending on configuration) but needed if you ordered with the Masso Base option, that as well or had one already.      *3

(2) spare spade connectors.     *4

Not included, but required for relocating the switch:

MOS Extension Cable

First, Turn off the VFD, either by removing power or switching to off.

Next, Remove the M4 Screws that hold the detachable switch in place, then remove the plate.

Remove the connectors from the switch.

DO NOT PULL ON THE WIRES THEMSELVES!

The connections are VERY tight! You will need to use a pair of needle nose plyers to separate it. Because whoopsies are inevitably going to happen, we are including (2) spare spade Connectors (*4)

Connect the wires of your VFD MOS Extension Cable using the red and black female spade connector wire from the VFD to the Male Spade connectors of the wire.

Run your wire to the MOS port of the Keypad Mount and plug them in. Then replace the screws with the ones previously pulled from your VFD on your installed MOS Switch port

If you have the Masso Mount, you'll install the backer (*2) plate using of the (2) #6 3/4" screws (*1) and reinstall.

Use the remaining (2) #6 3/4" screws to secure it to either the Masso Mount or a flat surface.
