How to make v7
print icon

For the makers out there, this is what required to make the V7 boot yourself and below is how you would assemble it.

Dust Boot v7 - Brush

Dust Boot v7 - Acrylic

Dust Boot v7 Maker Files

Dust Boot v7 Makers Pack

Prior to ordering your acrylic, you'll need to commit to a size which there are 4 variants. 65mm or 80mm for the spindle/router size, and 2.5" or 4" for the dust collector hose size. Each of the folders located in your maker files are organized this way with the original folder being the pre-2022 version.

What you'll need to print:

./Base Plate folder contains what the acrylic piece would be if you bought it from the link above.

./Collar contains 2 sets of collar files. An inner sleeve, and outer collar in 1" and 2" variants. The 2" has the widest applicability.

./Maglock/MagRing, you'll need 2 of these

./Maglock/MagRound, you'll need 1 of these (They go in the hose with a maglock)

./Maglock/Mag Reciever Joint, you'll need one of these. It goes on the acrylic.

./Magnet Orienation Tool. Helpful, but may not be required.

./Tracks (there are 3 pieces. Original (wide), narrow, and spacer) You'll want either a wide or narrow, and however many spacers. These items are most likely to become unserviceable due to an oversight or momentary lapse of judgement.

./Tray optional but serves the same purpose as the narrow track, with an extra piece on the wide track.
